Reviews From Clients
"I very highly recommend Amy to anyone looking for a speech therapist. She has been extremely patient and kind throughout the process of working with our daughter. Our daughter can get frustrated and overwhelmed at times and I've been delighted in how seamlessly Amy addresses this, without skipping a beat. In addition, she is extremely knowledgeable about Childhood Apraxia of Speech. Definitely reach out to her if you're looking for someone outstanding."
"My 2 year old son has suspected childhood apraxia of speech and has been seeing Ms. Amy for only three months and in this time his intelligibility has skyrocketed, as well as his language and confidence! It is exciting to see the growth my son has made and so encouraging to think of where he will be in the future. When we first started seeing Ms.Amy, my husband and I were the only ones who could understand him, and know others close to him are able to understand what he is saying. His progress is great, but what is wonderful is how excited he is when it is time to see Ms. Amy. He loves going to speech and continually asks us when he will see Ms. Amy again. I know this is a long journey and am glad he is so happy to take the journey with Amy. She is very engaging and knows how to push my child with his speech while still having fun and keeping him highly engaged. I would highly recommend Ms. Amy and her practice to anyone needing SLP support."
"Amy is an excellent, attentive therapist and provider! She has helped me improve my speech and confidence through thoughtful, yet comfortable training sessions. Would definitely recommend her!"
"Ms. Amy worked with our pre-school age child first at summer camp and later as a private speech therapist in 2018. Not only is she very technically proficient, but also kind, patient and understanding, which we feel are very important when working with young kids. Our child's speech and communication skills made huge leaps forward that year. We would gladly recommend Ms. Amy to anyone who requires a speech therapist for their young child."
"Amy is awesome. She’s been working with my son for a month or maybe less and we love her. Although, my son have a long road ahead just having her a part of it, is a blessing. She is such a big help. My son is making progress."
"Amy has been wonderful with our son. He loves working with her, and she's made a huge impact for him. It's been great having a therapist that will come to him, rather than having to drive him to appointments. I would recommend her to anyone!"
"My 3 year old son sees Amy each week and looks forward to his visits. He has made incredible improvements since he started meeting with Amy. She is fun and kind and is so valuable to my sons progress. Cannot say enough good things!"
"Amy has helped me a lot with speech therapy coaching over the phone for our toddler. She has come up with some brilliant ideas that we can practice."
"Amy is knowledgeable and thorough in both her evaluations and therapy plans. She easily communicates complex concepts at a user friendly level to parents and other therapists. She built rapid rapport with my son and had him engaged and enthusiastic to “play” during evaluation and intensives. She is insightful into the nuances of Childhood Apraxia in a way that we haven’t experienced otherwise in the greater Austin area. She was comfortable providing subject matter expertise specific to our child and Apraxia in general to our school for ARD consideration and IEP creation. I cannot recommend her and her therapy approach enough!"
